TC Heaney Needle Holders are used for light to medium weight suturing, most commonly in gynecological procedures such as vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, and dilation and curettage. The slightly curved shanks and tips provide the user a better view when suturing intravaginally, and the cross-serrations provide a secure hold on the needle. STI permanently bonds tungsten carbide inserts to the instrument, which maximizes control and precision.
